In the News!

Every so often, the work happening on our dance floor makes its way beyond our studio walls. We're grateful when it does — not because we're chasing a spotlight, but because every story is one more chance to tell a family that dance belongs to them, too. Below you'll find recent features, interviews, and mentions of Blossom & Bloom Creative Arts around San Diego and beyond.

KUSI July Community Champion

When KUSI Fox news visited our University Avenue studio in July, they found what our families already know: a place where cost, ability, and diagnosis are never a barrier between a child and dancing. The segment traced our path from a handful of classes to a full 501(c)(3) creative arts program — one built on scholarships, adaptive instruction, and the simple belief that every child deserves room to move, create, and belong.

SoCal Shoutout

Beverly shares the thinking behind Blossom & Bloom: a fully non-competitive studio where families never have to choose between quality instruction and everything else life asks of them.

It's the closest thing we have to our story in our own words.

SD Voyager

The Life & Work series turns the focus to the person behind the program, Beverly's own path into dance, the risks that come with building a nonprofit from the ground up, and the lessons that shaped how Blossom & Bloom runs today. This one is the story of how we got here.
